Tucson Unified School District: Jan. 30

Representatives from Tucson Unified School District will be at Goodwill Midvale Job Connections, 1703 W. Valencia Road, to recruit for bus drivers on Thursday, Jan. 30, from 10 a.m. to Noon.

Positions are full or part time with flexible hours. They include paid CDL training, $12/ hour, #13.35/hour to start. Applicants must be 21 with verifiable driving experience; cannot have accrued eight points against your license in the past two years. Must pass Arizona Department of Transportation physical and drug screen, lift test. Must pass a Department of Public Safety/FBI criminal history background check. Must pass a Department of Public Safety physical.

Census Job Fair at Goodwill Midvale Job Connections

Representatives will be at the Goodwill Midvale Job Connections Center, 1703 W. Valencia Road, from 1 pm- 4 pm on Thursday Jan. 30 to answer all your questions. If you have not pre-applied, you can apply for the jobs on the spot at the Job Connections Center.

U.S. Census Bureau; through February

The U.S. Census Bureau is trying to fill up to 5,000 jobs in the next 60 days at its Tucson office. The jobs, which include census takers and office personnel, pay $14.50 to $16 an hour.

With the start of the census fast approaching in March, the Census Bureau is ramping up its recruitment efforts to hire up to 500,000 people nationwide.

Sun Tran, the primary public transportation provider in Tucson and surrounding metropolitan area, will hold a job fair on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sun Tran Administrative Office, 3920 N. Sun Tran Boulevard (Prince/I-10 or take Route 17).

Sun Tran is hiring for the following positions:

Vail School District: Feb. 1

The Vail School District will hold a job fair in Rita Ranch on Saturday, Feb. 1.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Desert Sky Middle School, 9850 E. Rankin Loop.

The district is recruiting for teachers in all subjects and SLP / OT / PTs and school psychologists.

Marana Unified School District: Feb. 8

The Marana Unified School District is hosting an employee Job Fair on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mountain View High School (Gymnasium) located at 3901 W. Linda Vista Blvd, Tucson AZ 85742.

The Marana district is seeking dedicated educators, aides, health office, food service, transportation, support staff, substitutes, and other positions committed to student learning and well-being. Applicants can bring resumes, complete applications, and participate in on-site interviews.

McDonald’s recruits Alexa, Google Assistant in hiring efforts

Amazon hires for Tucson Fulfillment Center: Ongoing

Amazon is now hiring for more than 1,500 full-time positions ahead of the launch of its more than 850,000 square-foot fulfillment center in Tucson. At the facility, Amazon employees will pick, pack and ship small items to customers like books, electronics or consumer goods. Associates will work alongside innovative technologies, including Amazon robotics that will be used on a daily basis to fulfill customer orders.
